Chris Pietschmann Awarded 2024 Microsoft MVP in Microsoft Azure and Developer Technologies Categories

I am excited to announce that I have been awarded the Microsoft MVP award for the 13th time! As always, I am honored to be recognized by Microsoft for the community work I do. My passion for technology while helping others at the same time continues, and this recognition from Microsoft feels great. The Microsoft MVPs are some really amazing technical professionals and experts, and I’m humbled to be a part of this group.

This time, I have an achievement that is a first for me. I have been recognized for 2x different award categories with this 2024 Microsoft MVP award:

  • Microsoft Azure
  • Developer Technologies

I have been pushing to level up my game in contributing to the community this last year, and being awarded in 2x categories is something that helps validate what I’ve been doing. The breadth of my community contributions in these 2 categories have been primarily around the areas of “Azure Infrastructure as Code (IaC)” and “Web Development” including technologies like: HashiCorp Terraform, Azure Bicep, Microsoft Azure services, C#, Javascript, and other related technologies.

As always, I would do what I do regardless, but it feels great to be recognized.

In addition to the previous technologies, I’ve been working with Artificial Intelligence (AI) lately too (including both Azure AI Services as well as C#, Javascript and Python AI dev tools), just like so many others. AI is a really hot area of tech currently. It’s really an exciting time in technology with all the AI advancements

I contribute to the community in several ways, with the following being the core places I contribute to the community online:

Thank you to everyone who’s supported over the years, and here’s to an exciting year to come! If you’re interested in keeping up with what I’m doing, you could subscribe to my blog RSS feeds, follow me on LinkedIn, or even subscribe to the Build5Nines Newsletter.

As always, I am humbled and honored to be included in this amazing group of Microsoft MVPs!
